"Variety is the key word when it comes to Surferigno. This Montreal instrumental trio can move in many musical directions. At their recent record launch, the band's short set included instrumental tributes to Link Wray and Black Sabbath as well as an impressive cover of Queen's Radio Ga Ga."
- Martin Siberok, Montreal Hour, 2005

"If you ever wondered what surf music could sound like if it wasn't from staunch retro record-collecting snobs (...) they simply use the surf sound as a touchstone throughout the hefty 21 songs here."
- Johnson Cummins, Montreal Mirror, 2006

"This is really fresh. Surf, espionage, Latin jazz, island cool, and most unusual. Surferigno are not at all trad, but they sure do play some cool tunes!"
-Phil Dirt, Reverb Central, 2004
